Its unique. They onbely built one, as a design statement to show the world the company still existed and was in rude health.

A fabulous thing, but as a one-off it was never going to be brilliant to drive. Very quick, though

Never liked it at the time, I had a copy of Motor magazine with it on the front (1980 I think it was).

I see it still has wheels too small for the arches.

Surely, It's only going to appreciate in value. I'd have thought it would be a great investment and a future (albeit damned ugly!) Pebble Beach entrant.

You're probably right but would you want to spend £1.3m on something that isn't attractive and isn't (allegedly) that good to drive just because it's an investment though?

I'd rather put my £1.3m into an old Aston Le Mans racer or something that'd be huge fun.

Does it still have the keypad entry? You know the quick way to get into the car when it's pouring with rain, using a key to open the flap and then punch in the 49 digit secure entry code

never did have keypad entry. What it did have was four buttons which, when pressed would raise or lower the huge doors hydraulically (up down for both doors).

there was also a system which if this failed you could open them by yourself.

Dont forget the five headlights in the nose- the panel in front dropped down to show these lights

And the gold plated gearstick lever. Indicator controls. Sunvisors...

i rememberthis being in the i-spy book of cars. FFS i bet it;s never been on the road! you didn't even get that many points for it either.
