I'm another who prefers classic design to modern (as I'm sure most do on this forum) but these always turn my head and I think they are just perfect in every single way.. (looks wise)



No other saloon car compares IMO.

both coupes ^^^^^

Alfa is certainly the best modern saloon car about at the moment i reckon, and it gets even better in the 'sports wagon' guise. plus the italian police look oh so cool in them!

I still think the Alfa 156 looks superb.

The QP can be sublime.

E39 and E28 5 series have a purity that I like.

Does the SM count as a saloon? If so I saw one in Glencoe recently and it instantly put a smile on my face which was some achievement as i was really suffering on the bike up the hill.

The 159 is indeed a beautiful car, but it's proportions still don't match the 156's IMO. Such lovely lines.
