Ok I'll keep it short, got myself a new, permanent job and I'm thinking about treating myself to a car. I have a budget of about £3k, and I'm thinking of either a 320d or a 330i right now, currently I have a C2 and I don't want to sell it, I'll garage it until I can afford to strip as a rally car.

My options are either, keep the c2 running and spend the money on my project car (mk1 mr2), buy either the 330i or 320d, buy something else.

Any advice and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

Liam

What's you contingency fund looking like? 330 will come with potential high bills as the M54 suffers from a non bullet proof cooling system.

on the basis that stripping the C2 and turning it into a rally car will cost about £10K you may want to rethink your plans....
