So Nissan are advertising the Juke as the first compact crossover but, I'm thinking that maybe (as horrid a little car as it was) the Rover Streetwise with it's beefed up ride height and plastic cladding, or the Polo Dune could easily claim to be crossover models themselves.

Thoughts? Discussions?

Have Nissan given the world a new market segment/ Or are they just blowing smoke out of their arse?

What's that Golf Cross car thing?
Used to see one on a regular basis (parked nearby).

Ah yes, I forgot about that Golf Country that pre-dates any of my earlier suggestions (although not sure if that was ever officially sold through UK dealers)

This.

But I'm sure there'll be plenty of people who can see through its (lets face it) hideous looks, and buy the thing.

Oh I sure there will be, just as the Cash Cow has become a sales success for them.
