Hi guys I bought my TVR tamora at the start of the week and it has the private plate GG52 BET on it reg transfers have offered to sell it for me and will give me just under a grand net when it sells. I think it could be worth more its been spaced out so it reads GG's 2 BET a few people have said to me it could be worth a bit to a booky. As it means nothing to me I want to sell it and either get a dan number plate or a TVR one. any help greatly appreciated!

You may strike lucky and find a buyer but dont shell out any fees upfront to market it. I think the fact you have to explain it says it all I am afraid. Could well be very wrong, try the Newmarket area.

Reg number valuations are always massively optimistic. They might say worth just under a grand but you will get them asking if you will accept far lower amounts if you let them act as your agent to sell.
Try putting on eBay for whatever you think it's worth and see if anyone interested ?

personally its worth nothing to me, i look at it and dont instantly see what its all about.

Plus surely if it was worth, or cost a packet the previous owner would have sold it or kept it.

Generally plates which are full length and in standard format sell for £0-£1000

Bookies are quite shrewd. Wouldn't think they would pay a penny for that.
Just an average plate IMHO.
