Anyone used www.underbodyprotection.co.uk?

Hi all

My son and i are working on our Mark1 MX5 project and are considering using a company called www.underbodyprotection.co.uk, based in Sussex, do the chassis / bodywork rust protection.
Has anyone used them / experience of them?

just to add to this, does anyone know of any companies in the london, surrey / middlesex area that do either wax-oil, dinitrol, rust proofing services?

Very usefull if you have bought a japanese import and want to protect it from our winter salty roads....

Hi

Personally I think that there are better choices than waxoyl. If you decide to do any of this work yourself check out thge Valvoline Tectyl range. As used on New Porsches, Boeing etc and so on.

Yes, anyone experienced dinitrol. I understand its better than waxoyl

They do. It says £300-£600.

The underside of a large car is around £500, a 4x4 is a little more, but a 3 series or a C class sized car, Mondeo etc is £360-400 I believe. The Waxoil used today is hard, and self sealing so is much improved over the oily waxy stuff from a few years ago.
