Addinh an aux socket to a car stereo

I have seen a few references to adding an aux input to a car cd player this is an example

I wish to simply solder a feed onto my board and play a silent cd, the problem being when I put the cd player back in the case I cannot get to the leads to test them. A photo is attached of the socket on the cd player that attaches to the stereo, any tips as to which of the connection on the white block I should use? I can't really see any other connections on the main board that would serve a purpose.

I have just realised that I can in fact get to the back of the socket so I can test to see which contacts it is.

Depending on which type of cd changer you have there could be a much simpler way to do this. I did exactly this in my car which had a Sony 10 cd changer in the boot.

Leave the control cable connected between the stereo and cd changer and just remove the two rca's.

You can then buy and RCA to 3.5mm jack which will plug into your mp3 player (maplins) for less than a fiver. You put a cd in the changer and ask it to play and then just connect the mp3 up to your jack and bobs your uncle. no need for blank cd's
