To be fair, the BOSE in my Audi was really good after I ditched the OEM Audi/Grundig headunit and fitted an Alpine, again wired to the full BOSE kit and it was like chalk and cheese, so much better!

Logic 7 (Harmon kardon) was the best I have heard, that was in my old E60 M5, not heard a B&O etc yet..

Pretty happy with the Logic7 system in my 3 series (I think there is a more expensive system than that available too).

B&O in A8 was pretty good when I heard it....

New A8 supposed to be just as good...

Mine has the BMW DSP Logic 7/Carver system and it sounds very good to me.

Utterly pointless and a total waste of money though - all i've done is switch it off or turn it down so i can hear the engine better.....

Linn in the Aston Martin's must sound pretty good too.

Mark Levinson systems fitted to Lexus are nothing short of awesome .

Sony sound in Ford vehicles is pretty bloody good and drops low bloomin well considering there is no subwoofer

The standard fit system in my 93 does me perfectly, even sounds like it has a sub woofer even though I doubt it has. Heck as long as I can hear the music clearly and it drowns out my awful singing it works for me.

I'm glad you said that. I always thought both the focus and now my puma had good sounds sytems. Considering its standard equipement in relativly cheap cars, rather impressive.

Would like to drive/be a passenger in some of these higher end cars long enough to give a toss about the sound system.

And to the poster who said window down in a Gallardo. Been there, done that, fully agree!!
