3.2 touareg vs 3.5 murano
Discussion
Any thoughts or ownership experience of these?
I know neither is super economical, there similar size and load carrying space(my thing).
Im not looking to spend loads on one so wondered how they stack up with some high miles on 'em.
Spec pretty good on both although the Nissan would have satnav.
At the moment im changing mind daily!!

Milu, loving the sepang zm mate! Has it got nav? Is it for sale?
I'm an MC veteran having run one from new (june07) till six months ago. I ordered carbon black as the dealer persuaded me that sepang would be hard to sell. Dunno why I listened!
Anyway, I now run a Touareg R50, the super rare 5.0 V10 monster! Has a v6 TDI before that. I can tell you that they are great cars. The Murano is thirsty in comparison as far as i'm aware. Also, you can get nav on a 3.2 Treg, you just need to find an SE spec car or a slightly newer one. It might make more sense to find a 2.5 diesel for not much more cash, you should depreciate less and find it easier to shift when the time comes.
Anyway PM me if the ZM is for sale! Ta

Touareg with 3.2 petrol is a terrible car - as thirsty as 4.2 and slow. Offroad capability largely depends on options. Had 2.5TDi and 3.0TDi also. 3-litre diesel is the most reasonable option.
On the other hand, i think Murano is more a city car with allroader looks. T.O.D, belt gearbox and no locks. Never driven one though.
