What's this car?

Sorry, not an interesting obscure 1970s car, but a brand new car that's been milling around where I live for a week now. It's basically a MINI that's been beaten with the ugly stick and has had the ride height jacked up just enough to ruin the looks and probably the handling :



Anyone know what this is? Google isn't helping much.

It's the new countryman. Loads of talk about it.

I quite like myself. PH did a review the other week. Not many small AWD's with a turn of speed and the countryman does it well IMO.

Seems quite a trim sensitive car, looks nasty in OPs picture but some of the press cars look quite smart.
