Check the Radiator works properly, other wise it can lunch the gearbox (As I found out).
Oh and I would ask for the TransVestite to be left behind....unless that is the draw....

Check that it has had all the recalls done. The early ones have quite a few IIRC. Some of them expensive like the front diff failing. The air suspension is not the most reliable although far more reliable than the P38.

How old do you have to be to drive one of these without looking like a bit of a c&%t? is there such an age limit?

It's certainly a lot of car for the money.

I saw this 2003/52 Vogue sell at auction last month, it was immaculate but had done 120,000 with full history. It made £6,500.

Good God. That is seriously cheap (even if the running costs won't be).

Thought about a Cayenne S for similar money. I made that move last year when I saw how much they dropped.

Why would you want us to talk you out of it?

That would be the classic "because I have drive to all four wheels, the rubber in my tyres will miraculously become 100 times grippier than normal".

Actually they are.

Just because someone crashed on into a ditch, this doesn't detract from the vehicle's abilities.

(I'm assuming you were joking)
