Found a 6 inch long key scratch down the offside rear panel today, I'm absolutely fuming. The cars been sat outside all week while the mrs is on holiday. I have a couple of suspects.

1, OAP fella with a banged up old Corsa who seems a bit annoyed sometimes if he doesn't have the entire 4 bays to himself.
2, 16 year old chav who has moved in to a flat opposite with his chav mum and thinks it's great to ride his stty quad around at 3am.
3,We live opposite a school, but it's a good school and most of the kids are ok.
4, Binman who I bked a week ago for not putting the recycling bin back where it's supposed to go.
5, Nieces new boyfriend who I found smoking weed in his Corsa over the shops, I then told her mum who banned her from seeing him as she's 16 and very clever and wants to go to uni.

I know I've got bugger all chance of finding out who did this which in a way is a blessing because I would hurt/mame them quite badly but is there a cheap CCTV camera I could fit in the house pointing at the car, something I could rewind if it happens again?

weed guy will have been too para to do it, quad kid has no motive, neither has the old guy. so it's either the binman or the school kids - i'm going with the binman, he probably thinks you're a right .

Hmmm! You could be right there, it could just be some random asshole that I looked at without asking for permission 1st (Harlows like that). I did tell the binman to "fking put it back where it go's" so he may harbour some childish annamosity towards me.

Why can't people just come up to you and punch you if they have a problem, I'd rather that than do something that will cost me money.

It is quite sad and pathetic how people do things like this in the UK. it was also mentioned in another topic on here. But its kinda sad how only in the UK, if you have a nice car, everyone gets jealous and hates you, making your car more likely to be subject to being keyed or paint stripper thrown on it.

In other countries 'nice' cars are enjoyed, not hated.

I think it would have been the binman.

But this quote is just stupid, how is having a boyfriend who smokes weed going to damage this person who is really clever and wants to go to uni? If you think she is clever you should trust her to make her own decisions. Weed won't stop people going to university, jesus.

woohoo Someone on PH says I have a nice car hehe. You are right though, success in whatever form it shows itself seem to be something the underclass chav scum that breed freely in this once glorious nation seem to dislike, "look at that flash , who does he think he is?" rather than "thats a nice car, if I work hard I could get one of those".

No but getting in with the wrong crowd or being in the car when he wraps it round a lamppost or gets pulled up by the BIB will, don't you agree?

Fair enough about the smoking and driving.

O/T entirely but round here we have rules about how we're allowed to present our bins/ recycling for collection (distances from boundary, not on footpath/road etc). Doesn't apply once they've been emptied as the bin men throw them somewhere near where they came from (and miss)

So in a few short days you've managed to wind up 4 people by grassing / bking them.

I think if you go back to the start of the month your list may be a lot longer.

Well it got keyed again last night, worse this time though. Some prat down the road parks his enormous Iveco van in our spaces which conseals my car quite well, suprised they never slashed the tyres too.

I managed to get a garage off of the council today so thats where it will live at night now. If I ever find the culprit I think I may end up doing some porridge.

The thing is I consider myself a nice person, but one that likes to stand up to feckless assholes. Mrs plumber said we should sell it and get an old banger but why the fk should I allow petty vandals dictate the car I drive?
