I often think about going it alone as a builder, self-employed PC fixer, taxi driver, driving instructor, and whatever but nothing would come close to earning what I do today. Do you think this stands a chance?

I recall watching a documentary about burger van competition. It's run like the mafia. Not sure I'd want to get involved with that.

That would be ideal for taking the bike to TD's, Mr nemesis could be making my bacon and egg rolls while I would be saving on fuel costs.

It's a win win situation innit.

Oh your talking to the right person there. I love burger van food - it's made me the fat bd man I am today. I'm just not sure it's a money-maker. And if it was, I'd eat the profits anyway. wink

Guy round the corner from the garage does 130 hot rolls a day.

At an average of £1.50 a shot.

Not a bad living and you get finished at 3pm.

Wouldn't the difficult part be trying to find a B&Q that doesn't have a competitors van outside?
