Kwik Fit - A Good Experience

I needed two new tyres for the Tuscan yesterday, looked on line and got the best fitted price. Kwikfit online were cheapest, so I phoned the local Kwikfit in Cheltenham.
The manager was very helpful, he didnt have the tyres in stock but Gloucester did, he matched the lowest online price and got the tyres to the branch in under an hour.
When I went in there, they didnt try and sell me anything else, they too time jacking the car and letting me check that jacks were is the right place. They were extremely careful with the wheels and laid them down really gently. They did tyre pressures and torques to my requirements, retrained my bold in metal valves but put new cores in them and were friendly, chatty and interested in the car.
20 mins to fit, the lowest price and excellent service. Maybe this branch is one of the better ones.
They were busy and I watched them deal with other customers, there was no pushing of unnecessary repairs to brakes, exhausts, cv joints etc.

Last Sunday at Patchway in Bristol one lad took 3 attempts to cock up the tracking on my Connect. Succeeded every time. Couldn't hang about as I was due in Glasgow so did the trip with a wonky steering wheel. Lad had been convinced there was a problem with my van.
Went back in on Monday having done 740 wonky miles. Manager was not happy with the tale of woe (I also told him they'd tried to do it on Saturday!).
He told a bloke with a pony tail to sort it. He did the steering wheel bit, attached the gubbins then looked up at the twiddly bits, shook his head, made a quick adjustment and all was perfect.
I'll ask for him again next time.

The thing is with these garages - if you show a bit of nous and don't come across as someone completely naive ("Oh I don't know anything about cars, just sort it") they won't take the piss with you.

Mechanic - "Your shock absorber is leaking"
Me - "Let's have a look, *touches and smell the liquid*, it smells like WD40, *wipes surface clean* where's the leak? Do you think I was born yesterday?"
