local dvla office

does my local dvla office (preston) still issue new tax discs if i turn up with relevant docs?

or do they just send it off to swansea and make me wait for a new tax disc before i can put plates on?

i know how it used to be, but when i took the plate off they didnt issue a tax disc there and then.

Yes they will, I was there last Wednesday.

Just make sure you have everything filled in properly to avoid a long wait.
