Auto-electrician or Main dealer in Surrey????
Discussion
Now, a little dilema. I run a year 2000 ford transit for work purposes and it has a fault with the electrics that supply the dash and some over bits and pieces. I am away on holiday at the moment but upon return at the end of the month i need to get the fault sorted. I had a mobile Auto-Electrician look at it and i sort of had faith in him till he started mucking me about by not coming to fix it when promised. He was a young lad working on his own so i explained that i need it fixing and that i have not the time to be waiting for him to not turn up, prefering to have him admit if he was out of his depth. Anyway long story cut short, i need the problem tracing and a good diagnosis so i can either instruct a repair or for me to effect the repair based of results of diagnosis.
Do i get another Auto-Electrician to look at it or do i take it to a Main Dealer? So would an Auto-electrician be better at the electrical work than a dealer or would the dealer have access to more detailed wiring diagrams, or what-ever they need?
Also any good recomendations in the East side of surrey or close to would be appreciated.
