Saw this on saturday afternoon, confused me, never seen one before.

- White
- Small (Fiesta size? If that)
- Kit-car looking
- K-reg
- Mk2 Astra rear light clusters

Any ideas?

It was a hard top, 2 door, didn't see much of it, only caught a quick glimpse of the front.

Definitely wasn't a GTM Libra. Possibly a Dutton Rico, but I wouldn't be too sure until I saw the rear.

Well, following on from the Midas lead, I ended up with the Midas Cortez, which I am almost certain is what I saw.

The older Midas Golds look alright, but the 'updated' Cortez and Excelsior with the Rover Metro/100 headlights really aren't nice.

Yeah, the old Midases were pretty successful (there's a white one round the corner here) and fairly good looking in a chunky kind of way, but those newer ones look somewhat unfortunate...

It's certainly a peculiar looking thing. Had me confused anyway, as can be seen above. This guy was putting a Rover Metro GTi engine in one, hasn't been updated in a long time though, sounds like it could've been a laugh.
