MPH alone is a waste of money if you ask me, I go to the Classic car show at the NEC every year. The MPH part is just an added bonus to fill in an hour or 2. Never seen the live show though.
do you need separate admission tickets for each part? the classic car show would appeal to me more than the live show tbh
F--K me!!!! £45 each (me and the mrs) for basic admission to NEC MPH

don't think we'll bother tbh

Went a couple of years ago, wasnt overly impressed, MPH show was complete crap, half a hall of rubbish. The classics show on the other hand was top notch, if we didnt get free entry to that i would have felt ripped off

thanks for your opinion

hmmm
very tempted to just head up for the Classic car show
Went to earls court the first year it was out really good fun BUT not cheap.
Goodwood festival of speed isn't cheap either but still very good only been once ad I'd say it was better
Have to also admit to going to a max power at nec must be 15 years ago now. Any good.... Well at the time I thought great but hind sight tosh. Especially the adult only zone ie topless long wait and a nipple at the end pointless.
Silverstone classic... Now been there twice excellent and much cheaper than goodwood plus proper racing.
That said the mrs has offered to take me to the nec belated birthday gift.

Classic car show is £17.50 and that ticket gives you access to MPH, But not the live show!
Word of advice though, if you don't mind a walk then you can park at the NCP at the airport and walk over to the main halls (Via the airport/Monorail which is free). Works out about the same money as the NEC. I do this as I stay for the weekend due to cars on display in the classic show, but it isn't a bad walk. I also feel that the NEC take the piss with the parking as they have the market cornered so i'd rather give the NCP a little and have the car probably safer!
