Day Insurance for under 25's
Discussion
I'm thinking of trading up to a newer car over the next few months and I'm struggling to find day insurance so that I can test drive a few different models. This was a nightmare when I was under 21 because no companies would do it at all, however I'm know that several companies offer it for people 21-25 years old.
The problem is none of them will quote me on the car that I want, presumably because its a reasonably high insurance group (it's not even that fast - E46 323ci or a later 320ci - something that I can insure for a year easily). Does anyone know of a company that would offer short-term insurance for a 22 year old on something like that?

I think you'll struggle, to be honest. I'm 21 and have tried going down this route a few times with no luck. Regarding test drives, if you go to a dealer then you can take one out no problem. Buying privately I've just had other people test drive them for me.The problem is none of them will quote me on the car that I want, presumably because its a reasonably high insurance group (it's not even that fast - E46 323ci or a later 320ci - something that I can insure for a year easily). I (21) got insurance for a day when I test drove my 320td, can't remember the name of the company, was about 20-30 quid though.
Great
