Has anybody got any experience using these chip repair kits? I tried using mine yesterday and while the paint is a great match, I'm having trouble applying the bloody stuff.
It goes on okay but whenever I use the solution for removing excess paint it removes the paint inside the chip too, putting me back to square one. So far I'm having about a 50% success rate on stone chips and no success with gravel-rash.
I've has more luck using an old t-shirt rather than the applicators that come with it.
Anybody got any tips for filling in loads of tiny chips close together? Its a good kit but I'm not getting the most out of it at the moment.
