Just wondering if the owner of the red/maroon Mondeo reg R307 YAR had an excuse for the way he was driving tonight? Only asking as it had a PH sticker of the back, so I would have expected better standards of it.

Saw it at around 20:45 at the traffic lights at the top of Whiteladies road, by the downs. It shot up the right hand inside lane , then cut me up as the both turned right, coming left into my lane forcing me to brake hard. It then proceeded down Redland hill very slowly (there was no traffic), which seemed a little odd since he'd gone round the preceding roundabout very fast. At the next roundabout he gave no indication despite me being right behind him. Throughout this his road positioning seemed very odd (very close the pavement at times). He also kept braking hard quite unnecessarily. To me the style of driving would suggest the driver had perhaps had too much to drink (especially as this was a Saturday evening).

If he would care to step forward, any explanation would be gratefully received.

Dont use the PH sticker as a yard stick for driving standards. I saw an Alpina Roadster (Z4) in Waltham Abbey the other morning and followed the same route onto the M25, lots of middle and outside laneing, braking for no reason and tailgaiting and a great big PH sticker on the back.

I've seen a couple of cars with PH stickers being driven badly, I often assume they may have been on the car when the owner/idiot bought them.

3.2 million people read PH, not all ate perfect drivers sadly.

That said, I've sold a few cars with PH stickers on them, so who knows?

Of course, I drive perfectly at all times......

My post was actually a thinly veiled compliment to the PH population.

Christ, a PH sticker isn't a guide for the standard of driving. I mean, even **I've** got a PH sticker. hehe

I'll put my hand up to this, because I'm nice.

The car, reg or location don't match, but I do have a PH sticker on my car.

yes

And what are the odds that the Mondeo driver suggests that the OP was driving like a tit

Thing is I have a vague recollection of seeing the car in a thread a while back. Surely the PH detectives could work out who it was couldn't they?

Could have been a TiV with the Mk1 Mondeo bodykit.
