Moving car wash & autobox

These car wash's where you have to put the car in neutral & let it drag you along as it wash's the car,Should you turn the engine off or leave it running? Can this cause damage to the Autobox?
I know that you cannot put an Auto in "N" & rally as it will knacker the Autobox so I was wondering the same about these type of car washes?

If in doubt use a sponge and bucket you lazy bugger! ;-)

You shouldn't tow over 30MPH with an auto in Neutral, but being dragged through at 0.3MPH shouldn't be a problem.

Keeping the engine running is personal preference....
