Just done my second Scotland trip of the year (of three) to see the family, with the wife and 2 kids.. To relive my boredom and questions from the 3 year old.. (where do airbags come from etc).

I noticed the following:

Does anyone ever ever pay attention to the 50mph limit on the bends into B'ham, and are they actually enforceable?

Once north of Carlisle motorways are like they should be.

All those bloody roadworks around B'ham, what the hell are all those gantry's for? Speed cameras? or Speed limit signs.. And if its just speed limiters, will the hours lost by all the people in the stuck in the roadworks ever actually be made up but the 'signs working'

How much have they spent on all those bloody signs.
