Decorating my Landie

My old 109 is currently coming towards the end of her rennovation but looks almost identical to how she did before.

I have been given the idea of maybe getting a friend of mine (who has an artistic streak) to paint the van sides with a mural (sic?).

Any ideas what to have though, It would go on the limestone bit where the 'NO EXIT' sign is...

Almost everything external is to be kept period (some extra lighting aside) as I don't want to lose the Series look however the paint is a bit tatty and I quite like the idea of giving the old girl a bit of a tart up that I can return to orignal at a later date.

ETA - Due to the cost of the replacement chassis and 200TDi upgrade a full respray is out of budget at them moment.

Generally, only pikeys and country music fans have murals on their cars; usually a horse, eagle or wolf, sometimes a dog. I guess it could work...but probably wouldn't.

I'm assuming you aren't one of the tiresome 'One life. Live it' brigade either. Personally I'd just keep it original or maybe go with the traditional signwriting idea.

Get it painted, people on here are pretty boring at times. Its the sort of vehicle that looks better when its tatty, even a paint roller paint job would be acceptable.

No I'm not a one life live it bloke (shes a bit old for that its 'one life, leaf it )but looking at the vehicles in my local owners club I would like her to stand out a bit (aside from being huge)

Loving the respray ideas but unfortunatly my budget doesn't allow , signwriting maybe something to look into along with the idea to paint it a as a station wagon.
