I have tried the search but its not working at the moment. I have 4 new wheels and tyres to fit to my E36 BMW with 2 Michelins and 2 Federals on the rims.

Where should I put the Michelins, front or rear.

Well... I had some Wanli's and some Bridgestones on my 325i... I put the Wanli's on the rear. This was kind of good for 'fun' driving, but crap when I wanted to just get somewhere. They were completely lethal in the damp. Not too bad in the sopping wet, or when it was bone dry, but a bit of drizzle and you'd be sideways faster than you can say 'dab of oppo'.

So, if you've got kids and a nervous other half, then I'd say put the Federals on the front. If you like a 'dab of oppo' then put 'em on the rear.

How much is your life worth? Buy two more Michelins. Good tyres should go on the back if possible, but you'll probably ruin the handling.
