I have been musing about cars again. I keep fancying one of these. I'd ditch the carbs and fit modern EFI with crankfire, reckon it could be used daily.



Its a bit rather lovelyish and they are not hugely expensive.

Is it me being weird or are those Ferrari Dino wheels on that BMW with the centre-hubs replaced???

yes I don't know anything about them but on looks alone, yes

ETA.. I meant the car not the wheels. The BM has five spokes the Ferrari has six smile

Yes, I noticed that. But the design is almost identical no?

I have never seen wheels like that before on a BMW anyway...

So it was £7000, then it was on ebay for £6500, there were no bids, then relisted at £6200, now its £5800....

Always wanted one of these, one of the only truely beautiful BMW's. Would like one with various upgrades from a modern (ish) beemer though!

I've been watching the ads that car for the last few weeks. Looks to me as if the seller is in a rush to get rid, given the way the price is being dropped so readily and quickly.

Might be worth a cheeky offer!

Ask for pictures of the engine bay, the area above the kidneys (nose panel), the shock towers, the boot and the c-pilar, which are the most common rust areas. Some may suffer broken diff mounts and weak syncros in second gear. Be also vary of damage due to overheating. Otherwise a great car and should offer reliability if taken care of.
