Usual stuff. Went to look at one yesterday. Everything checks out, nice sound motor. Not after the greatest hot hatch in the world but something a bit different. Gotta love that 5 pot sound and they look pretty good.
Anyone tell me the bad sides of owning one of these. Had an Alfa in the past so...... I know!
Cheers

Fair enough, the 2.0 5 pot is great. I have the coupe turbo but the engine is the same I guess. They can be just as reliable as any other car despite the stigma they seem to get, but they do demand maintenance. The only problem my coupe has had was the oil cooler pipe split and left me standed on the side of the road. Oh and make sure the belts have been changed on time.
I owned a silver 155 HGT and it was a lot of fun - the engine was a peach and it handled really well. Spanked my mates Mk3 GTi from the lights too, which he wasn't too impressed by.
The only real problem I had was that condensation always found it's way in and I was forever scraping ice off the inside of the windows on particularly cold winter days. Pretty sure it was just door seals, but didn't get round to fixing them as we had to change it anyway 'cos of the miles we were doing at the time.
