I have some relatives coming over from Canada and thought I would add them to the insurance on my smoker for them to use whilst they are here.

However my insurers will only cover UK and EU licence holders. I've looked at the day/short term insurance specialists and they all have the same restrictions.

Does anyone know how I could get them insured for 2 or 3 weeks?

You can get green-card insurance for international travel it would be up to them to take care of it when they sort any travel documents out.

I got insurance on my canadian licence with tesco - I have previously held a Full UK licence though.

It might be possible for your relatives to obtain their own insurance in canada - some provinces insurance is bundled up with licensing
