Seen a car I like for sale at a garage, however it came here from N'Ireland and still has an Irish plate. Full Service history and all checks out, however is there anything I should be aware of? How much will it cost to get the car transfered onto a UK 55 plate?
Doesn't cost anything. You have to do a form of importing (even though it is still UK) and at the time you do this you get the choice of keeping the NI number or reverting to a normal UK plate, usually local to your DVLA local office. It's no hassle other than going to the DVLA LO.
