Any reason why I shouldn't get one? It'll be a daily driver but a remap & dpf removal would be a must, giving around 270bhp & 435lb/ft. And just look at it! lick

Get yourself over to Alfa Owner for a look around. Some of them have issues with premature tyre wear and duff tracking but overall there's nothing that would put me off owning one. They are still utterly stunning.

Cheers,
Rob

Saw one of these yesterday on the M40, black with dark wheels. Stood out amongst all the bland ste it was surrounded by. Very, very, nice.

Yeah I had a quick look and a decent set of tyres for the Ti is nearly a grand! Not ideal if they go through them quickly. I think I've read that going 10mm wider on the tyres means a more common size, and much cheaper tyres. Don't know if that would be ok or not really?

That's a fair amount of torque! How much can the transmission take?

From a quick look on the Alfa forums a fair few people have them remapped, not read of any problems with the transmission.

Apparently there are different tracking settings about (compared to standard AR ones) which sort out the tyre wear issues, and I think someone makes 18's which look the same which will imprive your selection/cost of tyres. Remap and DPF delete is a good idea too.

18s won't go on due to huge brakes, but you can get tyres for £90 a corner, I have a 2.0 diesel, great cars.
