John Lewis car park
Discussion
Just been to our local John Lewis on an out of town retail park and the car Park was complete chaos.
I'm thinking that more and more people are aware that private parking fines are not worth the paper they are written on and that they are now showing complete disregard for any of the rules.
Just to be clear, I'm not talking about a bit of bad parking but people just abandoning their cars all over the place. People were just leaving their cars in the middle of the road, on double yellows, at the end of each row, even the pavement directly in front of the door, etc, etc. There were spaces at the end of the car park but I'm guessing such people thought it was too much of a hike.
So is this going to get worse?

Was it Cheadle Royal? There was seemingly no end of Range Rover Sports parked outside the entrance (the drop off zone). Nice DBS there as well.
I guess they spend a shedload of money in there so the management let them do what they want. I despair at some of ill manners of some of the monied Cheshire set though. Bad parking is just one manifestation of it.

What does clamping and tickets have to do with this? In my younger days we had neither in car parks and people didn't park like planks.
In bygone days we had children in coal mines as well, but we have moved on, unfortunately some irriots who drive cars havn't, they are stuck with their heads up their back sides, dont care, why should I park my car, when I can abandon it anywhere in a shopping car park. These are basically morons.

JL Cheadle has been bad for this for as long as we've been going there - the SUV & Porsche driving Cheshire yummy Mummies think rules are for little people, not for them.Gassing Station | General Gassing [Archive] | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
