Following the nicest wheels factory thread, how about spoilers / rear wings?

Useful for downforce, or simply just nice to look at. Your choice and your opinion!

Pics too.

My vote is funnily enough the same at the wheels thread.

Mk4 Escort, although I actually prefer the XR3i's as its not colour coded. No accounting for taste... as I am sure we are about to see wink

OH NO - spoilers do not generate downforce, but decrease lag and also can give a shearing point for the airflow - see Audi TT example as well as the orignal elise shape and the revised shape that went into production. nerd

Anyway, factory fit spoiler has got to be the whale tail on the Escort Cossie (IMO looks way better than the sierra's!)

I rather like the split spoiler on the original Pagani Zonda C12.

F40 for sure in my opinion.
I'm biased, but I'd also add the subtle automatic spoilers that rise at speed on 911s since the 964- just looks great as the spoiler rises slowly from the bodywork, and signals to the cars behind that the car means business and is ready for a high speed run!

I also agree, the CSL spoiler is good.
And the Ultima GTR's spoiler is a very nice thing to look at too...
