Its worth a call and maybe a viewing. What should I look out for?

Is that like a cross between a Ford Granada and a Grinall Scorpion?

Sounds like fun.

Classic! wink

I really like it - reminds me of my mum's car I learned to drive in, only not the 4x4. Could you imagine dropping a Cossie engine in there?! biggrin

You had to edit a post with 4 words in it. Methinks your Enlgish wink is just as bad as mine old chap.

Anyway back to this ford thing. What shall be looking for? What faults do they have? I presume that due to it being a ford and used as Taxis in some places it should be pretty built proof.

Someone else seeing this and the link on Facebook and beating you to it?

I'm tempted myself as a winter barge, I wonder if he'd take a Ford Puma in p/x...

Looks like a superb winter barge. If the bodywork will survive another year, or it already has an MoT, it looks like the answer.

I do need to tell you that my father's car was a 2.9 RWD but it was horrid. the steering was horrible, the ride was horrible, it was a right old barge and despite being a Scorpio, his even had wind-down rear windows. Build quality was pretty lousy.

Why is it unique? Did they not make a 4wd Scorpio or something?
