Earls Court Motor Show

For many years, today would have been the start of the Earls Court Motor Show.

I'd catch the early train & would be at the head of the queue at Earls Court waiting for the doors to open, and wouldn't leave till they closed the doors that evening.

Then off to Soho for ??

Does anybody remember the irate Elan owner who made a well publicised protest outside the venue ?
