I started a thread about my issue with a main dealer earlier, but it has got bogged down as to whether I am right or not.

I'm more interested in what I should do if I think a Main Dealer has done something dodgy to my car and who I should complain to. The head office? Trading Standards?

Cheers.

Unless you have concrete evidence/proof of any shenanigans. You may as well complain to the 'tooth fairy'.

You only got the hump because you don't want to face the facts that are: It has failed. It's no ones fault (i.e That's life!) You need a new one. BUT you want someone else to pay for it. Even though you can't PROVE anything.

Is this REALLY what PH has sunk to? Are you a litigious American?

Nope, you are wrong - I've had plenty of things go wrong with cars in the past and have been happy to pay for them to be fixed.

For the first time ever I'm not happy with what has happened and want advice on how to escalate the issue.

I've even had cv boots fail in the past and had them fixed. It cost me £450 to have the cambelt and service done at the vw garage so obviously I don't have problems spending money on my cars when required.

Do you think that garages never do anything wrong? Just look at all the threads about people who have had bad experiences at garages.

Why are you so against me trying to complain?
