Having my usual evening stroll through the classifieds, I spotted this

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2113759.htm

I don't need another estate, but tempting if you needed a cheap, useful car. Great buy imo

Its the same age as me.

The chrome wheel arches and the seller actually admitting that its rusty are not a good sign imo.

I know, but for a car that you can still get wings for with ease and an engine that lasts forever this would make a great tool for a gardener, decorator or anyone who needs a car to work.

It makes the tattiness more appealing, would even work for hauling mountain bikes and stuff. I love it, even if only for trips to the tip.

Always loved these. Looks an honest old car that one too. Trying to think of many reasons to need it now cool

When I was in Aigya napa last year and needed a taxi, I always tried to get the stretched version of one that they had there. They were always on mad milage but didn't have a rattle in them.

cool

I did find one for sale when i got back and had to stop my self buying.

I love these, you could bin those chrome arches and stick a couple of new wings on that for peanuts. These will start to rise in value IMO.
