I have 1 set of snow chains for my landrover due to being a tight kit i only bought 1 set.

So when the snow comes which it will in the north of scotland which is the best axle to fit them too?

iirc i read somewhere they should go on the front.

I'd go for the wheels which provide some drive and all the steering.

In that situation, I assume you lock the centre diff?
