Viper is just pure porn for me. Just more special than the Vette. Even with all its flaws - it's worth it.

My two pence completely agree with this. You see a few Corvettes around, it's a fairly default choice for expensive American muscle, but a Viper.. That's something else smokin

had both the srt-10 and the z06....both stunning. z06 more refined and easier to drive quickly, srt just an animal. don't believe all the stuff about the exhaust burning you're leg, sure it gets warm/hot but it's not a problem it's also convertible which is good where the z06 is only available hard top, tho the standard c6 is available in drop top.
you won't regret either, any questions feel free to email me.

Head says Corvette but I'd ignore that and my heart would write the cheque for the Viper, it just seems more of an event, something to relish more.

i think you should go for a viper as i personally think they look better than corvettes and are ment to be slightly better build quality.

Viper no question for me. Sounds better and a lot rarer. Never driven one but have a C6 Vette- good but usual light steering and what the hell is with those seats? There aren't that many corners here but they just didn't hold me in the way you'd expect.

Whilst not a fan of yankie motors, I did once stop at a t-junction over there. While working our which way to go, I happened to glance in the rear view mirror, and it was full of Viper. Awesome, and as already mentioned, much more special than the Corvette.

I had the choice between a C5 Z06 and a Viper and after reading all the road tests, bought the Z06.
I wish I'd bought the Viper which appear to keep their value better as a bonus.
Even if it drove only half as well as the Vette, even if the Vette lays it waste through the twisties, it just looks so good.

14 years of viper'ing with x3 vipers for me and i still havent been persuaded to swap to a vette

the viper's hold their price hardly any depreciation over here, cheap maintenance bills, cheap insurance, very reliable and great fun to drive

No contest - I wouldn't care if the Vette was 10 times the car (I'm sure it's not though), I'd still take the Viper.

Would be a blue original model GTS for me.
