Whoooa! Someone above was watching Mr Richard Holt at the weekend when he was racing a Gallardo at the Texas Mile.

He hit 235mph in the 1900bhp car and deployed the parachute which resulted in the car losing control, hitting a small wall and then catapulting through the air.

Only bruises. Brilliant safety on his team's behalf.

Somehow I doubt if the driver will need to visit a toilet for at least 12 months after that accident.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance are experienced in picking up blokes named, ahem, Richard who've come to grief.
