Gallardo hits 235mph and crashes spectacularly

Whoooa! Someone above was watching Mr Richard Holt at the weekend when he was racing a Gallardo at the Texas Mile.

He hit 235mph in the 1900bhp car and deployed the parachute which resulted in the car losing control, hitting a small wall and then catapulting through the air.

Only bruises. Brilliant safety on his team's behalf.

They are photos of the screen of a digital camera not a video.
