He wanted an s max as he has 3 kids and lots of stuff

Unfortunately the company is stipulating nothing more than 130co2, which rules them out.

Only thing he can find of interest is a Touran bluemotion.

I am saying stuff the 7 seats and get a 320d touring - 184bhp and only 128co2...

Any other suggestions? Apart from the co2 limit the only limit is the lease cost which is about 520 a month or so...

Honda FRV any good? Not sure on the emissions but quite a good (if not a mad looking) family wagon.

BMW 320d sounds like a good call, very well rounded cars.

With the Touran, I wouldn't buy the old model as its been on the market for 7-years, but the new model that has just come out very recently has a 2.0 TDI 140 Bluemotion Technologies version that slips under the 130g/ co2 km barrier. 140bhp so would be quick enough in theory, but not driven one as I say it has literally just come out.

They stopped making those ages ago and the CO2 was much higher than 130. Japanese manufacturers haven't yet mastered building non-hybrid cars with good CO2 emissions.
