I'm not going to get into insurance bashing here... Just looking for a few quick suggestions as to where is worth looking... I've done the usual compare blah blah sites... premium has doubled to £2,400 for next year with current insurer, cheapest I can find is c.£1500 via comp sites...which I can handle... just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to a decent broker worth contacting before I accept the best current quote and cover?

Car is 2009 350z (313)roadster
I am 32 - zero no claims due to being hit whilst parked earlier this year... and a hit and run the year before, central London postcode, secure parking SDP+commute use 3 points sp30

Any suggestions appreciated!

I fully expect this to go downhill rapidly being PH biggrin

And yes I've tried the search function but there are far too many results and the ones I've read seem to have taken some serious detours wink

£1500 sounds okay, to be honest.

Yeah I'm not too put out by it... Obviously we all want to pay less if we can wink May try a few brokers just to check... normally the compare sites can be beaten from what I hear!!

It's your fault because you drive a car, snow, accidents, MX-5, 335d (mapped), winged horse of chav tat, actuaries, etc, etc.

Now that the usual stuff is out of the way, the only suggestion I can make is to literally try everyone: spend some time on the phone to insurers and get lots of quotes. Have you tried Adrian Flux, Admiral, Amlin? Also, there was a thread in one of the TVR forums recently about insurance and a couple of specialist brokers were mentioned (I can't remember them save that their names probably didn't begin with the letter 'A'.

HTH.

Rig up and speak to them, you can usually get it cheaper by complaining and making sure the cover is only what you need, they'll always try and tag on a load of bullst you dont need.
