Applying for a new V5C document - via DVLA office?

So having completed the V317 registration document, it turns out I need a V5C to send away, which my ex has kindly binned.

As I was planning on walking into the office tomorrow with both documents, and only having 1, will they be able to provide me with a copy there and then (as opposed to calling up tomorrow and having to wait a week).

I understand there will still be a £25 fee, but I'd like to get the retention going asap! It'll surely save them time anyway
