I'm planing on hiring an American (ie big) motorhome for next years Goodwood revival and wondered if anyone has any recommendations? Having never done this (and probably never will again looking at the prices!) I'm not familiar with who's good and who's not in this market. Has anyone come across these guys www.jcmotorhomes.co.uk? If so any good? Thanks

Have you considered hiring a caravan? If you can weather the obligatory blasting from the PH keyboard warriors then you'll get far more kit for far less money and be able to unhitch and use your car independently as well.

Why do you want something that big? it will be a pain to drive and reverse.

You can get upto 7 people in the large european models and as the are based on Mercedes Sprinters etc. they are a doodle to drive.

Paul - it's the one they take to LeMans every year. They hire it out for the rest of the year. No idea on a website, but I'll poke Oggs/Viant and get them on this thread smile

Not a blast but you have to think about all the bother with caravans, or indeed smaller motorhomes.
A lot of the RV rental companies such as the one I just mentioned actually specialise in sports/music events and will have the RV waiting for you on site, you don't even have to drive it. Pure luxury with no stress!!
