Rolls-Royce Armoured Car
Discussion
I should start by saying that I am forever dreaming up ridiculous projects, 98% of which never see the light of day let alone fruition. However this idea has been with me for a while now.
I think these are cool:

Buying one will never be an option. They are as rare as hen's cosmetic dentition and if one ever does come up for sale I should think it would be in the millions. Even a replica (albeit built on a genuine Rolls-Royce chassis) sold for $87750 in 2006. http://www.sportscarmarket.com/car-reviews/english...
But I reckon building a close representation, rather than an exact replica wouldn't be beyond the wit of man. Perhaps using a Land Rover chassis and running gear, a Jaguar XK engine and a lot of boilerplate. So, someone, please talk me out of it before I start scouring scrapyards for bits.
