Coming home tonight, pulled up behind a red Mitsubishi on a slip road.

Looked for all intents & purposes like an Evo IV from the reas, had the big spoiler, huge backbox, etc.

But when he went round the roundabout in front, I saw it was a 2 door coupe! 51 plate.

Defo an import judging by the poorly placed foglight, etc. but I can't remember seeing a 2 door coupe, evo'esque Mitsi.

Anyone have any idea of what it was?

Just a 2 door Lancer, available in a lot of overseas markets, with an evo kit. A couple of folk have transplanted evo running gear but the vast majority just crap all show, no go.

Definitely not a Proton or FTO - I am a car nut after all credit me with some recognition skills

2 door Lancer seems most likely, it definitely had an Evo's arse end.
