My blood boils when I hear people say this. It isn't is it, you fking cock? And you know full fking well that you're wrong but say it anyway.

To apply the same logic across the board; a house is a ttting house, clothes are mother fking clothes and food is stty food.

So why don't you fk off in your Kia Pride, wearing polyester bd trousers, to your 1 bed stty flat and eat a bag of fking turkey mince, you !

Disclaimer - this mini rant came about as a result of my non car loving boss sticking his nose in to my car choice for next year. When he knows fk all about cars.

I often look at cars and their drivers and think "you've walked into a showroom, seen a Kia cee'd/pious/other beige monstrosity and thought you like that, out of all the cars out there, you've chosen that!"

Reminds me of that Harry & Paul sketch "saw you coming."

Good rant anyway!

Also, minor point, shouldn't it be "A cars a car"?!

Unnecessary apostrophe'

No, as I abbreviated "a car is a car". I'm not making the car possessive in doing this, I think?

Good rant.

However, I quite like turkey mince.

Does that make me bad?

If you take out the fk,fking and stty there is only one and a bd.
Very poor rant 3/10

But on a plus note after the bosses comments the and bd can be applied in one sentence which would give you back 3 points..
Overall 6/10.

No Bob, not you. The thing is, mince is a fairly lowly foodstuff compared to what you can buy to eat, hence it fits with my argument about being the Kia Pride of food. The turkey bit was just showing off my GSOH.

Your rant lacks a little in understanding. Perhaps you should have changed it to 'My car choice is my personal extension of my outgoing and dynamic personality. It has a chrome knob and dials that go up to eleventy. My boss, who by the way is a complete and utter knobber, hates me, secretly wants to be me, but knows that he can never be me. This is his way of annoying me greatly'. I think it will all fit in the PH thread title line

I will go witha 7/10 more information needed on the cars in question would help your score.

What does the boss drive?

What are you considering for next year?

"Its only a car..."

Usually said by somebody when they open a door into your and you inform them. Funnily enough their opinion changes when you run your keys down the side of theirs though. Funny that...

Technically a car is a car. A car is not a bowl of soup, a telephone box or a badger. There are many things a car is not. One thing a car definitely is, is a car.

I've confused myself now.

on the one hand I see where you're coming from. on the other hand..why buy an A3 sportbackwagontourer 1.6d when you could just have bought a kia c'eed estate diseasel and saved a tonne of money that uyou could then spend on something that is actually remotely interesting. and have a proper warranty not that you'll need it because it'll probably be built better in the first place anyway.

Err, no biggrin A very necessary apostrophe. "A car is a car" is "A car's a car" to remove the "is".

Damning use of the word polyester which makes the expletives unnecessary. Still, it's only a post.

Swearing 7/10 - Copious, but repetitive
Content 3/10 - You may think you have a point, but you're getting arsey because someone doesn't share your interest. Has it occurred to you that some people don't give a toss about cars? Some people buy from the nearest dealer, the friendliest dealer, or they buy the car that's cheapest to run, or cheapest to buy, and they really don't care whether or not you like it.

Oh, and your boss can stick his nose in because he's your boss.

fk st bks.

Oh, and a car is a car, as a matter of fact. And a house is a house, and food is food.

Agreed. It's called a 'contraction'
