Bit of a head-scratcher this one

I need 4 new tyres. Done the research and the difference between Camskill and Blackcircles is around £130

If I get the tyres from Camskill I can go and see a local wheel (bling) seller and get then fitted for around £30 for cash (all 4). Blackcircles price is fitted.

But, the wheels have Tyre Pressure Sensors which can be sensitive to poor handling

So, the question is: Do I risk it and hope that the local fitter won’t knacker the TPSs, or do I use the reputable Blackcircles dealer, where I’ve got some from of protection if they shag a TPS?

The TPSs cost £120 each BTW

Is it worth the "saving"

I've used Blackcircles recently, really good service, it's probably worth the extra and just mentioning to whoever you speak to at the fitter about the TPS

Why not order from Camskill and get them fitted at the same place BlackCircles would use?

There isnt some sort of network of Blackcircles dealers you know, they are just regular tyre places that have signed up to be a part of Blackcircles. There is no less chance of them cocking it up than anyone else you'd pick.

Obviously you are right, as I've used BC many times before

The head-scratcher (for me) is that the BC fitters want to sell me tyres as well (rather than buying through BC). By paying "cash" I don't get the sell in the tyre dealer..
