Quite a cool ad!
A friend of mine has the older Fabia VRS - bloody quick little cars I tell thee! (Mind you, his is remapped for a little more oomph, but nevertheless!)

I've had one of the new ones as my company hack for a couple of weeks now.

It's quite an interesting little car.

Verdict is still out on the DSG box, as far as I'm concerned, though (bit of a Curate's egg), and they've got some way to go before they'll be scaring the Clio Cup at the the 'hardcore' end of the market.

I've already accepted that I'll miss the huge torque and I probably won't like the DSG too much. But we'll see.

Hey Ho! time to move on.

If it's a petrol one, they're not a bad car at all (not that the diesels are necessarily bad; just that I can't comment, as mine was the petrol model).

I did 95K miles in mine and seriously considered getting another one, but I prefer smaller cars and just didn't need the Octavia's size (or company car tax bill) this time round.

The car's may be getting better, but personally i still hate them - For one simple reason: the owners!

Around my area (Bangor, North Wales) Most of them seem to be ownded by the BiB and used as there unmarked veichals. To be honest the only one's driving them are the one's who are complete and utter wkERS! and there always out no matter what time it is.

I wont like the look of them on the road untill NW BiB get rid of there's and move on to the next lot.

On the other hand, maby time to buy one and kit it out with some red and blue strobes scratchchinhehe
