If anyone knows the muppet that was driving the above car towards Manchester Airport along the M56 near it's junction with the M6, at 3.45pm today, ...... please ask him WTF he was doing, sitting in the outside lane, with not a single car anywhere near him, in either the nearside or middle lanes, other than myself who passed him in the inside lane (a legal undertake because the traffic in the right hand lane(s) is moving at a slower speed), but then retaliated by gesturing that I WAS THE wkER!! If you have the misfortune of knowing the single cell brained, dick wipe, just explain that we are in the UK, not some European Autoroute, and he doesn't realise how close he came to having that single cell battered!!!

I hope the mods don't take offence to this post, but recently it has become more & more common for the MLM to shift to being OLM, and I think PH's needs a new section to name & shame these people. Millions are being spent on widening motorways, ...... for what reason?? To have the inside lanes with nothing in them??? I really, really would like to know what these morons are thinking, and I know many will answer "absolutely nothing", this idiot must assume the outside lane is his, regardless of other users!!!

A bad experience with an Audi of some sort on almost a daily basis leads me to post such a response. I'm normally a perfectly docile fellow smile

That is the sort of comment I would expect from someone whose current car is an Audi A3 ...... amazing how you all stick together!!

You've started the confirmation that most people are now realising, ..... that for whatever reason, the main culprits of lane hogging on motorways & dual carraigeways are Audi drivers!! Many years ago it was the Morris Minor, then the Austin 1100, then the Nissan Micra ..... AND NOW ON A ROAD NEAR YOU, THE AUDI DRIVER!!!

It was equally as dull when BMW's had that reputation. Do people really think that what Clarkson said ISN'T actually gospel?

Whether other people are parrots to Clarkson's cries is beyond me, I just speak from personal experience. There's the odd imbecile in a BMW, like there's the odd imbecile driving around in all marques nowadays, but certainly nothing to write home about. In fact, I'd go as far as saying that a lot of BMW drivers seem quite polite. Audis on the other hand, tend to be the complete opposite. Only the other night I had an A3 not 3 inches from my rear bumper, and it wasn't a freak occurence.

how utterly predictable, straight to the profile

I've always wondered about people who start posts about incidents which include car regestrations in the hope someone knows them

perfect confirmation

btw, do you see me standing up for the cretin you came across?

Maybe it would be best if we didn't post up car registrations of those who seem to have done wrong, otherwise we'd be swamped with them. However, any driver who sticks in the middle or outside lane with nothing on he inside and then gets raged up at anyone who passes on the inside, surely has to be a bit of an ignorant ar5seh0le.

The irony is that posting threads like this makes you look just as stupid, yet you're reaching a far wider an audience than twunty reps who cut you up or sit in a lane you disapprove of. What exactly do you hope to achieve by informing us of his number plate? You really think there's anyone out there that gets anywhere near as bothered as you about something you saw?

Can we have 'fun PH' back please?

Clarksons a great entertainer/comedian/writer but i dont trust his views! Sadly however, i make the drive from lichfield to leeds on a weekly basis on the M1 and on a far to regular basis to b a co-inky-dink its audi drivers who drive like strokers. Saying that however, its reps that drive the audi's and that is only down to the fact they are attractive on lease, so until bmw get rid of the runflats you will continue to see mouth breathers in audis

Why do people create these threads? They're cringeworthy in the extreme.
