Indicators - They are ace. Every car has them, unless you are driving round in something that the Ant Hill mob use, even BMWs and Audis have them and they aren't an optional extra they come as standard equipment. They don't cost anything to use so no need to put 10p in the meter. They are easily placed by the steering wheel on convient little stalks so just a little knock of your hand and they come on so you don't even have to scrabble around the cabin looking for them. On a practical level they let other road users know which way your intending on going so you don't have to rely on other road users being mind readers they even, if working 100%, click off after you have turned! Indicators are brilliant!

I am a big fan of Turndicating - the art of making the manouvre you require at the exact time of applying the Indicator, makes road journeys much more interesting - i love the sound of horns bapping in the morning
